Prioritization Framework
One of the most critical skills in product management is effective prioritization. I use a multi-dimensional framework that balances several key factors:
RICE+I Scoring
- RReach: How many users will this impact?
- IImpact: How much will it affect those users?
- CConfidence: How certain are we about our estimates?
- EEffort: How much work will this require?
- IInnovation: Does this create new opportunities or capabilities?
"The best product methodologies are adaptable frameworks, not rigid processes. They provide structure while allowing teams the flexibility to respond to unique challenges and opportunities."
